Zhanran (Jessie) Xu provides project support to the China Project at Transparency International Australia. She holds a Master of Geography from The University of Melbourne, where she is also currently completing her PhD in human geography, with a focus on Chinese critical minerals investments in Australia in the context of the energy transition. Through an interdisciplinary approach, Zhanran has conducted in-depth analysis of China-Australia cooperation in the mineral supply chain.
Aside from her role at TI Australia and academic research, Zhanran also has research and work experience in China at Sinochem Environmental Monitoring Centre and at Monash University as research assistant for the TCFD disclosure project.
